The interior is fine, glycerin won't harm it. Water is a chemical, hell, everything you see and feel, is a chemical. The worst that might happen is it could smell like glycerin for a day or two. I'd be more worried about someone calling the fire dpt and them thinking it's on fire, soaking the interior in water.

Why Negative?! At least the thief wouldn't have time to look around inside the car before the smoke filled the interior. Sure the glicerine would leave a film, but that'd be easy enough to clean. It looks like it's the same as a smoke machine for parties.
