@FrankieJoeGTR In 07 08 and 09 the Altima sedan was available with a 6spd manual tranny with either the 2.5L 4 or the 3.5L 6 like mine in the vid. 2010 and on if you want a stick Altima you need to get the coupe.

@BreastsIsBest Manual in a Sedan died after 09. 2010 and up sedans have no stick in either motor. You want a stick you need to get a coupe.

@BreastsIsBest unless ur just goin for the unique good looks of the altima coupe why dont you go for a g35 or 370z or even a newer 350z if ur not using it for a family car why get a "sports" car if you can actually afford a SPORTS car...i own an 04 maxima which is labeled as a 4door sports car even though sports cars are RWD according to racing enthusiasts but i bought it bc VA gets some decent snow (recently at least) and i can have the same performance and handling, plus snow drivability

@pbeilstein yeah that's what i wasn thinkin...i was gonna go for a 350, but i was thinkin bout snow (and where i live, snow gets pretty fuckin high)...so i was leaning towards a subaru...like a wrx or sumthin. not the prettiest cars but meh, amazing in snow.

So right now my mind is stuck between a 350z, or a Subie. I'm planning on getting Blizzaks for the Z cuz people say those are really good in the winter and it's really good for the car too (also depends on driver), so im thinking of getting a Z. idk, cross the bridge when i get there.

@rizegraymon1 thats why nissan has offered the maxima since it came out as a 4 door sports car, it has all the same attributes as the infiniti and z set ups, engine wise, suspension wise, intake tuning style, ect so i guess thats an exception have you actually tested your max on a auto x course or down a backroad behind a 350z before bc you can keep up if not over come him stock for stock depending on how well you can drive its a drivers battle due to similar set ups

Love the sound man. I have an ebay exhaust on my 09 Coupe and it sounds almost the same as the part when you gun the throttle at speed (the smooth wooooooooo). The VQ sure has a unique sound that easily surpasses many V8's in audio pleasure. :D

sounds good, i got an 08 Z with Nismo dual cold air and cat back. sounds quite similar. like the new body style of the 3.5 Altima also, good things. good quality sound on the cam also.

i bought an 04 maxima engine VQ35DE for my 05 altima, was reading some specs the maxima has same HP as the altima SER which is 265HP 246 pds of  torque, however my old engine from my 05 altima has the same engine number VQ35de from the webite, but only produces 250 HP & 246pds of torque, better ecm perhaps??? like it is the same engine correct? so how come a newer engine same number vq35DE have less HP than a older model? hopfully u guys can clear it up for me thanks alot

Well first off the Altima SE-R had 260HP not 265, onlt the 04-06 Max had 265. i think it was o4 might be 05 and up. It all depends on package, and how a motor fits into a car, different intake setups and different exhaust set-ups. My Altima has a 270 HP Vq35DE and the new max has a 290HP VQ motor.

yes sir, its all in the computer, same motor., you put a altima SE-R motor in your car, you wont get the 260hp unless you have the same map the SE-R computer has.

Iam not sure what WT is, but if its what I think your talking about then yes maybe. The VQ has a dual stage intake manifiold, at about 4k a second shorter intake runner opens up

Any drag times with it yet? I have a local 1/8th mile I like to run at. With a JWT pop charger and exhaust I ran 9.41 @ 77.06 as my best thus far. Added the VIAS delete plate and Y pipe since fall (and the tracks closed) so I will see hopefully some 9.20's @ 79 or so this spring.

The STI, S2000, Evo are all upwards of 30,000 I payed alot less for my Altima, plus my car is bigger and has more features, and the first couple of year S2K's I can beat. As for a MS3, there slow and small. SRT-4's are neons there cheap they have roll up windows in the back and they have had alot of problems like your garbage fords, so calm down and dont talk shit until you can prove it, anyone can go on the internet and talk about cars they may or may not have

The only thing angry about this vid is the fact that you must be pretty angry when little 4-cyls (s2000s, evo, stis, ms3s, srt-4s...etc) pass you like ur standing still. My car gets out of its own way....03 mustang cobra (approx 540 rwhp)
