  • I saw them perform at the 2008 Japan Day Festival in Central Park on June 1st. They were easily the best performance of the day. Every member of COBU is highly skilled at providing an amazing visual, auditory - and if you're very close to the stage - tactile experience. But Miyamoto-san was absolutely stunning during one of her "solos". Her sense of rhythm is so engaging...it made a great experience just that much better when she moved to center stage!

  • man, the drums seem to drown out all of the wonderful tapping sounds...hopefully it's just the poor quality audio on the video...

  • My favorite dance group of all time. So amazing live. Don't miss them if you get a chance to see them. Inspiring and beautiful melding of tap, drum, and funk dance styles.
