  • @OnePeopleOneChina so what?

  • @ Many Peoples In The People's Republic of China

Its very sad that traditional Tibetan names are being renamed with Chinese names in Tibet. Why would you want to travel around the world to see a street renamed Beijing East Street in Lhasa ???

    .

When I travel to Tibet I want to see the local Tibetan culture not imported Chinese Culture.

One day I also hope to travel to China and South Mongolia as well.

  • @FreeTibetandChina Should the USA purge itself of British names like New London, New York, New England? How about French, German, Russian, Spanish names? Should Japan purge itself of "imported" technology like the automobile? Should all Asian countries purge themselves of high rise buildings - made possible from "imported" inventions like concrete & steel? How about medical vaccines? Would you rather catch leprosy instead of using an "imported" cure?

  • @ Many Peoples In Tibet, South Mongolia and China

Are people protesting in any of those countries about those issues ??? You tell me...

Tibetans protested across their country of Tibet in 2008.

    Please go to

    uprisingarchive. org/Resources/Tibet%20Pro test%20Map%202008%20.jpg (remove 2 spaces)

to see a map of the 2008 Tibet protests

  • @OnePeopleOneChina

how about ending the illegal occupation of tibet??? or do you trying to say that medical vaccines are illegally imported???

  • @TheMightyGuri why is everyone always talking about Tibet, what about the illegal occupation of Native American lands?

  • @Kensadaimyo1

maybe because nobody can change that anymore?

  • @TheMightyGuri Well theres independence for Siberian states in Russia, or independence for Scotland from England, those are more probable than Tibet.

  • @Kensadaimyo1

who's calling for tibetan independence??? and why dont you advocate for human rights in china itself?? aint those your own people???

  • @FreeTibetandChina Really? last time I went to Tibet I saw a lot of Tibetan culture and most of the signs have both Chinese and Tibetan writing

  • @Kensadaimyo1

you "think" you saw tibetan culture... what you saw is a display for tourists

and yes there are signs with both, chinese and tibetan writings! but which writings are bigger and can be seen better?? the local language ones?

  • cubancigar,

malaria is rare in china. and china is the largesst producer of malaria drug in the world. you can get the drug in china (very cheap) if you want to take extra insurance.

  • Nice video :) Are you Dutch ? Do you recommend to take vacine against malaria before traveling to South China ?

  • Thanks, yes I'm Dutch. We didn't take a malaria vacine this trip. We only stayed in a Malaria-area for three nights and that was the maximum the health department advised to go without vaccination.

  • Really enjoyed your video. Would love to do the same trip- can't wait until the train is finished!

About comments: Jeez. You are both right- but who cares? This is a tourist video not wikipedia!
