I'm sorry, but this game was REALLY lame. Like, really, really lame. Maybe's its because I had the Gameboy version, but the models looked like blue polygons. I couldn't tell the difference between any enemy unit. They were all just a red mess. and the controls were awkward at best.

In my own opinion this game was great. The graphics were nice for a handheld RTS. The game had a decent story (even though it was the Ultrasmurfs... bleh). Gameplay and controls were nice (Though I wish u could pan the camera around on ur turn so u don't walk around the corner and go OMGWTFBBQ dreadnought!!!). Next to Resistance Retribution and Star Wars Battle Front Renegade Squadron, this is a personal favorite.

@troyluna555 Youhave to survive for 20 turns in Mission 13 Black Waves and there is no land raider in that mission. Just stay in the area where you started. Send a couple space marines to tackle the terminators that come from the top right of the map with a plasma gun. Arm he dreadnought with the ballistic missile

Near the later levels, you get to use Grey Knight Terminators, along with Dreadnoughts. You need them, as you fight Bloodletters, and they kill anything else in one hit.

I have this game for the DS and I love it! Granted, the graphics arn't as good as they are on the PSP, but for a 40k and turn-based strategy game fan like me this game is PURE GOLD. A few camera issues aside I'd give it 8/10.

Nice...beats me why they havn't done a 'decent' console 40K game yet (lets face it, 'Fire Warrior' was shit). Take ANY Astartes Chapter (Ultramarines, Space Wolves etc), create an imaginative storyline, add the controls/graphics/look/size from GOW and you've got a sure-fire winner on yr hands. Add in the ability to gain higher ranks and the different armour/weapons/bonuses they come with as you progress through the game. Go from Scout to Battle Brother all the way to 1st Company Terminator.

why would they make a turn based game when they already have a well-known RTS version? I am not sure what they are trying to accomplish here. If they want to make a squad based game, they should attempt the model that Operation Flash Point has or try to improve what they were attempting with Fire Warrior.
