Nice Car, you should have a T-5 Tranny right? if so you can shift a bit fast timing the clutch and it is more of a flick of the wrist and it'll be fine, I think unless you slap it from 5th to reverse is the only way you'll kill that tranny besides shooting it.

same with me... my cousins boyfrield has an 86 gt and i never liked the foxbody mustangs until i saw an 87 gt convertible for sale by my house and it completely changed my mind. my dad ended up helping me buy it and at 14, i was able to pay for half. i love my 5.0 and i would never get rid of it for anything

actually its not that bad. right now its only got collision so its like $100 a year but when i start driving and i get added to the plan its gonna jump like $1500 because of the fact that a guy. The car is actually insured in my dads name so i dont get charged extra.
