Ok, i JUST got home from playing bratfest with GNF and that freebird solo was INSANE! Prad, anyone can throw around a tone of swear words to sound tough, but heres the thing, swear words are for stubbern dim-witted people who dont have an extensive enough vocabulary to properly insult someone or the ability to strongly back up their oppinion. Jimsinicki: my 12 year old cousin can play the freebird solo, what GNF's guitarist did to make the solo and face of the song different was amazing

and prooves incredible musicianship in that they made it work. yes, its a cover of an epic song, but playing it their own incredible way makes them better musicians that if they just read the tab and played it note for note, that would get old WAY too fast. GNF: i'm the bass player for boulderfist, i've played with you guys twice and i hope more in the future, congrats on your victory in the NATINAL FESTIVAL, these people have no idea what theyre talking about, keep doing what you do!

I'm not trying to take anything away from these guys by any means because I know this song is rediculous to play (I know from experiance) and the guitar solo is even harder, but I personally feel this song should ONLY be covered if the you can play the solo correctly.

Your improvised solo was awesome no doubt but It's free bird, one of the most epic songs ever created. Whenever someone covers it and can't handle the solo I always feel like it's a disgrace.
