I just saw Claypool in Portland, OR on the 15th, they did this same thing, except for the fact that he didn't have a guitar player, I thought that it was going to suck, but apperently an excellent xylophone player works very well as a substitute for the guitar riffs. Both are just as awesome...

Dig this big time. Thanks for posting it. Several years ago a friend gave me a CD labeled Les Claypool's Frog Brigade and it was a cover of the entire Animals album. I thought it was a bootleg of Floyd. I loved it. Many years later someone pointed out who Les was and I've loved him ever since. Don't know him very well, but love the Frog Brigade stuff I've heard. They covered Thela Hun Jinjeet by King Crimson. NOONE has covered that to my knowledge. Amazing song with amazing bass. Hmmm...

I saw this show at The Filmore in Portland probably my favorite Les show but its hard to say I have seen him too many times to say but my This was amazing he did the whole Animals cd WOW!!!

Yes. Animals has been my favorite album for a long time, and they do it pretty good justice in these videos.

Honestly, I am not much of a Claypool fan at all. I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan, which is what interests me the most about this.
