Looks like your car has a real solid pull on the big end. Got any more pics or vids online? I allways liked the 205' nose. Best looking of that generation IMO. I like the GT4, but as usual we got the blandest versions here in the states. Cheers.

I didn't have a chance to talk to the lad that owned it, but it was pulling alot near the end so I can only assume he had done some work to it. As standard WRX's never really stood a chance with me.

as you know im new to mods and all,

do you reckon upgrading my stock celica top mount intercooler to a front mount intercooler will help me in boost and performance? and also, how gwd is the ct26 stock turbo, any ideas? thnx : )

I would go for the front mount if you had the money, and a new ECU. I went for the ' HKS F-con V ecu '

The CT26 is poor mate , the CT20b from the gen 3 is a lot better but still maxed at 1.2 bar . possibly get 330hp before you need an upgrade .

my st205 had 380hp / 365 lbs/ft with a stage 3 hybrid 9 made from a ct26 funnily enough lol )

hardcore fan of the GT4.Shockingly, I dunno if it is just me, but they have been gaining in popularity here in the states lately.I think because now Canada can get them and probably will be the start of some creeping into the USA.Since I got my GT4 exterior, people have educated themselves a lil more on the Celica GT4 and are supporting me to complete my project. From the "Supra" guys here in my city, since I cannot afford a Supra.though building a GT4 is more expensive than payments on a supra

Well kind of. I am the same age as you I would imagine (26 right now) and my celica gt is the first car out of my other 3 I had once owned that I got to modify. I am changing it to red with black rims, but it is black with red riser blocks and red rims. I started the red rims trend here in town and I am also the first to have a GT4 exterior. Made friends with the supra guys. So I want to still be original. I guess I can take pride in building my own, but it is really expensive. LOL

Sorry to butt in. For all purpose driving and off the line, I'd take a GT-4... its unreal what that car is capable of. For rolling 50 MPH highway pulls though its hard to not like the Supra. The two are my two favorite cars and I'd take either.

I'd have to drive a Supra to compare the two. I've always liked Supra's and the reason I went for the GT4 is the AWD.
