  • all four are great ! thank you for sharing !

  • This is really good...but I keep flashing back to Benny Hill while I'm listening to it...and I don't know why.

  • Funny how this is actually strongly ragtime influenced.

  • No fuba, no fuba! cried Hans as the soldaten closed in. "No fuba, idiotas! Stupidos!---from War Memoires von Ludendorff

  • Whatever he plays it's full of surprises and always perfectly presented. Great musician... Q: Will ever anyone equal or even surpass him? I doubt it... because a KW master turns only every 500 years up. Thus, count yourself lucky having witnessed his talent...

  • all dutch and belgium people watch kabouter wesley

  • @nomis96ful me too!

  • @SpudIllusionPictures

limewire, frostwire or any other music download sorce

  • Awesome job of arranging this. It was too cool. I am just now learning who Klaus Wunderlich was partly thanks to this video. Thanks for posting it!!!

  • 1976 version simply the best

  • this is beyond corny and lame, and that´s why it´s hilarious and brilliant!!!

  • @Golfshooter I agree with you EXCEPT for the 2nd. (the 1971 one) it really sounds too much James Last ;-)

  • Hey Simon!

Klaus Wunderlich! Vince played his music in the car when we went up The Pentlands with Chris and my brother. ENJOY!

  • Silence! The Master is playing....

    5*****

  • Yea yea yea, say it's cheesy, say it's lounge music but you know, I say it's great. I used to remember this dude playing with James Last when I was a kid: I loved those shows and I love this music. Magic! And to think he did this without sequencers! Genius, pure genius.

  • Please tell me where I can find a download of this exact piece! It's so cool! Thanks! :-)

  • This piece its excelent! but I'd recomend Ray conniff"s version for you. Any ways, good taste partner!

  • Thanks a lot! I love this song! You clearly have great taste too!

  • dat was de muziek van het mooiste circuit van europa

  • this is music from BAARLO.. the stockcar racing track in holland. when te f2 stockcars came in they play this music!!

  • wow, this makes me want to get naked and dance like crazy!

  • Holy crap this is totally awesome.

  • Excellent performance!~

  • So the question remains, was the first part a tone wheel Hammond or not a tone wheel Hammond? Whether it was a tone wheel Hammond or not a tone wheel Hammond, it sounds great to me!

  • Comment removed

  • This is interesting in that this is represented as being Hammond. Klaus later in his career allied himself heavily with the Wersi organ Co in Germany. He recorded a great deal on analog Wersi instruments which were excellent. This is outstanding as Klaus usually was, but the first part is definitely not a tone wheel Hammond.

  • The very first part recorded in 1959 was definitely a tone wheel generator Hammond C3

After that all sound very similar to me...A Hammond H-100 is particularly confusing to me is a Wersi alike.

I admire Wersis, but I prefer the warm TWG Hammonds

  • cool song

  • great player in 70s

  • We use it for Race start music:P

  • Ethyl Smith had a hit with this on the Hammond in the 1940s. It is worth a listen.

  • And Lenny Dee and Cherry Wainer are very very good on Tico Ticos

  • @rockymntain I guess so! Since "Tico Tico" sort of pioneered in the 1940s. To my knowledge, Ademilde Fonseca released one of the first EVER recordings of this on shellac back in 1942.

  • Like something stupid by Frank Sinatra?

  • Agreed, but denied.

    He's psycho, but a genius!

  • oczy takie jak moje ten sam zarys

  • Wunderlich took elevatermusic to a greater level

  • lol!!! Soooooooooo true.

  • Thanks for the good humour

  • it sounds like music you would hear at a shopping mall or an elevator.

  • lol!! i agree!

  • My last name is Wunderlich

  • omg.... This must be the past's answer to great digiltal melodies... Amazing

  • great compilation.. nice work

  • Klaus was imho simply the best. My favourite "Tico Tico" is the fourth version.

  • Hearing this just makes me wanna smile...

I found one of his old record as

a 7 year old boy, in my granphas attic, with a hammond

organ as a closeup image. It looked so

special that i just had to play it,

and i was stuck! I played it

over and over again. Most have been a

record from beginning of the 70´s. Tico Tico, Lovestory, hummle fly song, and more.

  • He would have been god on a wurlitzer organ. Is there any recordings of him on a theatre organ?

  • This is so cheesy its good.

  • gegen Florian eine lahme Nummer

  • florian is better.. klaus who,

  • Hell yeah Klaus Wunderlich :)

  • No one had more dapple fingers than our Klaus!

  • Klaus was my late fathers favourite organist. I'm currently transfering all my fathers LP's of Klaus to MP3. Fantastic! R.I.P. Klaus.

  • wow this is really great. i know it is in bad taste to demand things here on youtube, but is it possible you could upload these songs in their entirety somewhere? i love tico tico and have always wanted some of wunderlich's renditions!

  • Although I like the Lenny Dee version better, this is pretty good, too.

  • It's marvelous, really marvelous ! I like !This music makes me younger !

I played Tico Tico with my accordion about in 1947....1950 !and I discovered Klaus about in 1977, 78 !

  • BEST TICO TICO VERSIONS

  • Florian " GalaTM900" here on YouTube is even greater....

  • Florian " GalaTM900" here on YouTube is even greater....

  • ES WIRD NIEMALS EINEN BESSEREN GEBEN

  • Many thanks for this musical treat it's on my play list!

  • Sorry, intendevo Klaus, of course. Mi è partito un tasto sbagliato e non so affatto come si corregga un post già scritto.

  • Bravissimo Chocolatemaniac, un montaggio perfetto e un sincronismo da professionista. E' un degno tributo al nostro grande Klays! Complimenti.

  • I am amazed. Thank you SO much for doing this. Klaus ist ganz wunderschön!

  • i got his phase 4 recordings on vynal ,it was this man that started me in surround sound and electronics..many many thanks Klaus.

i started in 1978 at the age of 12

  • He was also the man who made the Hammond look silly and cheap and made for elevatormusic.

  • You can't deny the cat's got chops.

A Hammond can never sound cheap. It can only be played badly.

By the way, the organ on this track is not a B-3 - and does sound cheap!

  • yes to all that's been said,he influenced us all.I had the privilege of playing before he went on at Caister England. He was a real nice guy to talk to although known to be shy and reserved.

  • that was a good bit of mixing you done there, loved it........where did you get the other tracks?

  • My own little collection... ;)

  • @chocolatemaniac Would you post the 70's dico version by itself? It's my favorite.

  • We'll never see his like again. There hasn't been a single organist to come along since that's fit to tie his shoelaces.

  • I think there is...search in youtube for "Florian", and there he is. All of probably 15, yet it's Klaus reincarnated.

  • Klaus is probably the Hammond organist who took out of that wonderful instrument its very best attributes

  • The best there was, the best there is,and the best there ever will be...thank you for the music, Klaus!

  • Fabulous!

  • WOW--Great.
