Yes, the Tetsu-era is very underestimated.

Tetsu has a wonderful unique voice, and this song was written for him to perform it, that's why Gackt and Klaha was good with this song, but not n long ways as good as Tetsu himself.

Wellll... I wouldnt say Tetsu was the reason MM was better than most all other visual kei bands... I attribute it mainly to Mana, Gackt, and Kozi; Mana and Kozi formed the band--Mana did most composing, but Kozi put a lot of his own style in.

Gackt only helped with increasing the range of fans (probably my least favorite member, aside from Yu~ki..)

Overall, MM was amazing no matter what or who you're talking about. :p

Shame that most Tetsu Era songs dont have a studio recording.

Well, I've read a lot of stuff. People have said Kami wrote it, and then others say Yu~ki wrote it. I'm pretty sure Yu~ki wrote it though, because I remember seeing it somewhere on the Merveilles scans.

Syunikiss is a gem, yes it is, but it's not really one of my favorites. The song is great, but Gackt doesn't really tickle my fancy, if you understand...

(I'm not a fan of Gackt's voice, for those reading who have no imagination).

Compositionally, Yu~ki is pretty good, proved by Syunikiss; but he's still a bassist--nothing really to be said there...

Also: I disagree... Klaha wouldn't be able to sing Baroque at all, I don't think... His vocal range doesn't suit the song--it's a good range, but he's WAY too based around lower tones.

You just HAVE to be Tetsu to sing Baroque properly lol

Around 2:15 Tetsu starts kind of altering the melody, singing in a different way from the album version of baroque... I love how he plays with the songs like this... And this alteration in particular... is just amazing...

I heard gackt sing this song and I hated the way he sung it. I think that tetsu was a more expressive singer. I mean he was singing about choking his "lover", lol. But I think the sound of malice mizer reflected who the singer was. I've checked, and I'm now 99% sure that it IS our beloved Kami who's sitting behind the drumset drumming straight from his heart! ^-^ I have this clip myself, and when I watch it part by part slooooowly, I recognize Kami's face! to the above person, this is an EARLY version of baroque, this song actully has a different name also. Baroque used to be called "sphere of god" and this is the original way it was sung, just on the memoire album they mixed it differently.
