looks like the wind was gusting 25mph+! amazing control, keeping it stationary in those gusts.... I'll bet a lot of guys opted to stay on the ground.... Justin probably learned to keep a few more centimeters of altitude in high wind... awesome flying, Justin!
@delsol7878 Spank? Why? But, he did have to pay for the damage done to my heli that he crashed. He wasn't too happy but he learned not to flirt with the ground after that.
I hear a lot of jelously on this link but Hey the Kids doing somthing that I know is incredibly hard to do,and don't even start me on whoever said somthing about his dad.I've listened to the guy and he's alright by me.Grow up guys
That was my 700 that Justin borrowed for the competiton as his was disabled in a crash during practice at home.
When you toy with the ground, you will lose 100%. I told him that crash on his 700 smacking into the windsock was an honest mistake during a practice that I'll gladly pay for the repairs. But, above crash was simply asking for it while trying to show off. I told him that he is paying for the repairs from his earning from the competition. Since then, his deck went up 3-4'. :)
yes and no, competitions seem to be the place where ones boundaries are pushed and expanded, crashing is part of that learning process, a harsh lesson though.
and yes he should pay for his own mistakes, otherwise the lesson isn't going to be learned properly :)
good on you for loaning him your machine though, one day he will be truly a great pilot ;)
still amazing for a 7 year old to do what he does, by the time he's 16 he will be unbeatable !
thats hard core, but he is making some cash im sure..and he knows well by now what hes getting into when using someone else bird...i wish i could fly 10th that good.. thanks for sharing.
I've been telling him that high winds will shorten the hang time and some times pull the heli down. He was dumbfounded that the heli was sucked down so quickly with no hang time on tail stand.

@Kpilot786457 Sometimes he thinks he can just will a heli to fly. This has shown it doesn't work that way.

why my dad not like his dad?
kl8966Q 1 year ago
@kl8966Q Don't feel bad. My dad (Justin's grandfather) wasn't like that either. Perhaps you can do better with your kids. :)

not saying he's not talented but if any kid had been given unlimited repair money they could be this good to. Also i woudln't even want to be him.
