@DragonGuard21 its because he picked up over like and equipment. u just have an equipment item (regen, bubble, ect..) and hold the switch weapons button, which depends on the button layout, as you walk up to the overshield u should drop the equipment and then u have to switch it for an equipment item to drop it or die. but i suggest trying to pick up the equipment.
