Well, they share a time zone of the past, and I believe Mark M. and David B. are good friends with mutual respect. They certainly share a musical choppiness at times, and an almost military style posturing. I used to play their albums when I was jogging around in my living room for exercise. Where most bands sound corny and dated after 20 or 30 years, both of these bands stand proud and loud.

I think both bands contain equal amounts of crazy, albeit in different forms and overall messages. I love both of them with a passion.
