I still cant decide whether a better investment is a 98-02 WS6 or a 77-81 T/A, the newer ones look good, are as modern as you need daily (4-wheel disc, etc) have amazing performance, good gas mileage for a muscle car, but the 2nd gens look badass, like honest to god king shit badass, theyre steel and not plastic, that shaker hood is to die for, and the interior looks and feels just as badass as the exterior (unlike the plastic 4th gen interior) I cant make up my mind on my next investment =/

dude, love the TA. The 2002 is my dream car. I had an 87 GTA and it had electrical problems and burnt to the ground (common for an 87). I deff want to invest in buying a 02 Ram Air. Keep the vids coming

Why do people say lt1s are shit? How much did you pay for your '02 trans am...$15,000? which is cheat for an '02. You dynoed 320 rwhp with I'm assuming the ls6 intake, ram air and exhaust. One could buy a lt1 fbody for $7,000 (There are autos out there for $2500) do full boltons, and lt4 hot cam kit and be around those numbers. Total cost = 7,000 + full boltons 1,200, lt4 hot cam kit $550 + gaskets $110 = total of $8860 which means a savings of $6140!!!

Who said LT1s are shit? Nobody here. And if your questioning why I spent more on a 02...its because I like the 98-02 style more than 93-97. Im also goin to keep the vehicle for a long time and I wanted the last year that they made them. However, that is just my taste, so to each their own and its my money im spending and im fine with that.

No no no. No said lt1s are shit on this vid. I was just making a point. I love the '02 trans am. It's kinda my dream car :) There are people who say lt1 gets dominated by ls1, which is true if your speaking in terms of stock vs stock and not considering cost. This was a random comment. Was thinking you would have some opion, and you did.

yea i will .. whats the cheapest mods for starters?, i already have SLP exaust and cold air inductor.. any ideas to bump up horsepower for the cheapest??

nothin is really cheap but i would say maybe to have your throttle body ported or do it yourself. The best mod i did for the money was the gears. I went from 3.42 to 4.10s. If you are an A4 i would do 3.73s and if your a M6 do 4.10s. It was 190 for the gears, 70 for the install kit and 100 to get it installed. Then i got a hypertech to reprogram the speedo...just an idea
