4 valve motors dont make a lot of torque, they are more of a high end motor, especially the mach 1's and cobra's. Granted a supercharged theoretically should increase torque dramatically, the motor just isnt designed for that.

little late since your comment is 4 months old but to get a torque reading through an automatic is very hard without a lock up converter. the engine stock make 320 ft lbs and 305 hp.

Nice car, but the torque numbers kinda seem low for that car. The compression is kinda high for a s/c setup, lower the compression on that bad boy.  Stock 03 mach 1 should make around 280hp/290tq to the wheels.

well, the place i had it done was very professional and do a lot of dynos. beside the fact, that i do not own a mach1, i have a 99 cobra with a mach1 engine. lets stop stinking up this guys video with our bickering.

@blown06tc Well that is still obtainable with a correct tune..They came stock with a CONSERVATIVE 305hp so with the way Ford rates things I would say around 300 to the wheels + the Headers and CAI.

@TheMrhoneycutt He clearly stated "longtube headers and intake only" no ands, ifs, or buts. The most important mod for an N/A mach is a tune which he basically said he didn't have. Another thing that proves he's full of it is that you can't have LTs with a stock midpipe, unless he magically made them fit, so he has to have an aftermarket midpipe. You need intake, full exhaust, intake spacer and a tune, at least to get up to 325whp in a legit corrected dyno.

Yeah... Why is the torque so low? i have an 03 mach 1 with a couple bolt-ons (MAC offroad exhaust, cold air intake, predator chip) and i got 302rwh and 315rwt... shouldnt the supercharged engine increase the torque considerably?

those are low numbers for a kenne bell mach 1. I have a GT with a vortech on 10lbs and i had the same rwhp and 20 more tq on a stock motor. but other than that nice car
