  • I stopped taking that guy seriously at "bleeding heart Liberal."

  • the law is a mirror, if you kill somebody eventually you kill yourself.

don't blame justice for being the murderer if you were the one who triggered.

and yes, there are psychopaths in this world, ignoring them and giving them freedom and thinking they can be "fixed" maybe isn't a good idea.

liberals probably consist of 20 percent psychopaths and 80 percent dumb/religious people.

  • sex offenders should be exterminated and if you disagree with this very statement you should be exterminated too

  • @bj22488 Sex offender can be anyone from a rapist to a streaker to teenagers sexting. And wanting to kill people simply for disagreeing with you is very tyrannical and reminds me of Stalin.

  • For all of you that disagree with the death penalty, watch this again and again let that poor fathers words on the loss of his child sink in,then think about the loss of countless scores of familys, the pain and loss they endure becaues some peice of crap person CHOSE to take their loved one from them.then see if your feelings might be difrent in some way.

  • @SaintLiam78 My feelings shouldn't matter when someone is being charged for a crime. If I really felt so strongly about something like this, I would just kill the man myself. I shouldn't put the blood on Americans' hands just to get some false sense of satisfaction.

  • @SaintLiam78 Agreed. Watch it over and over again, and especially pay attention to Penn's statement afterward about pain and emotional suffering not being good enough reasons to kill.

  • Normally I'm against the death penalty... but when there are children involved... :( I don't know, I just think that individual has lost their right to live.

  • The fathers pain makes me want to cry. Even if you disagree with the death penalty you can not fault him. That disgusting person destroyed his life. If I was in his position I would be asking if I could flip the switch.

  • No matter where you stand on the issue, the pain in her father's voice makes it quite hard to watch this clip. It's clear it's something he'll be carrying for the rest of his life. Penn's uncharacteristically muted response is therefore very appropriate.

  • FACT: It costs 3/4 times as much to execute someone in the United States than it does to keep them incarcerated for life without parole. FACT: Several states have since abolished capital punishment due to the fact that it COSTS TOO MUCH. "I don't want to pay to keep inmates alive" is NOT a suitable argument for capital punishment.

  • @Epidemechanical The cost of executing someone would not be so bloated if those inmates were put to death in short order. If there was a confession or insurmountable evidence against him, there should not be a 10, 15, or even 25 year waiting period. Fix this and the only issue would be a moral and ethical one.. then we can start killing each other, like abortion.

  • What's the moral difference between the death penalty and the actions of Jack Ruby?

I know Oswald didn't get a trial and death row inmates do but assuming he did and was convicted (and he was posthumously convicted) what would be the difference?

  • death penalty rules!!!

  • kill that guy, fuck him.

  • i dont get why people say the death penalty works besides that guy said it wont influence people dead people have influenced various people

  • @RorytheRetrokid They make a note of that in the end of the episode in a quite funny way.

  • i totally agree with the death penalty, however our legal system is terrible so they would probably kill innocent people.

  • I'm glad they didn't insult that dude for having a different opinion, at least for this topic of discussion, they can do it all they want for other topics. I know that emotion would overrule my decision on whether or not someone who murdered someone i know should die, but i don't think I would feel justified giving my tax dollars to the government to keep a child rapist murderer alive.

  • Religion has nothing to do with it. Personal pain has nothing to do with it either. We have over 300 million people in the US that try to live within the rules. e.g.- try really really hard not to murder and rape someone.. or rape and murder someone. We shouldn't have to look after those that only care about satisfying their own selfish desires.

How about we let money speak up? Let's have an option on our 1040 for those that want to sponsor death-row inmates.

  • So you're saying that financially it's OK to kill another human being? If it costs too much to take care of them, even if they're damaged, then it's not worth keeping them alive?

Saying religion and personal gain has nothing to do with is is a little disingenuous. It may not have anything to do with it for you, but it does play a part for many people.

  • It is absolutely OK to destroy 1 life that is bent on destroying countless more.

  • its not rite getting payback won't bring back ur loved ones back the best u can do is protect ur morals and not let emotions get the best of u

  • I thought I stated this pretty clearly. Morals and emotions have nothing to do with it in my stance on the matter, so please don't preach that to me.

  • hehehe its kool Its ur opinion I respect dat

  • @85dBlouder But we don't need to kill a person to stop them from destroying more lives.

  • @FatherTime89 Of course we don't. We don't *need* to take any action... What's your point?

  • @85dBlouder That it's a very weak excuse.

  • @FatherTime89 lol. What are you talking about my man. You responded to my post and left nothing for me to counter. So you left me your opinion. /shrug You could have done that as a public post and not directed towards me. Next time, give me something with a bit of substance if you want the same back.

  • @d5ive I'm not entirely sure what the conversation was. It was something from over a month ago.

  • @85dBlouder Because being imprisoned for life would allow him to kill tons of people. Yeah, right.

  • @Merimi I would rather pay to have certain murderers executed than pay for him to live. If he wants to go on killing, he can do it in the afterlife.

  • @85dBlouder

But do you trust the government to ALWAYS be right? There have been people found innocent - AFTER they were killed. The government gets everything else wrong, you think they'll always catch the right person, rather than just try to find someone as fast as possible?

  • @Jaydoggy531 Nope, I sure don't trust them to always be right, but that's not even what I was arguing against. I'm sure there have been and will be errors. Those need to get ironed out.

I'm arguing for the death penalty because there are cases that have undeniable evidence, and yes, those should be handled as fast as possible.

  • @85dBlouder

I would have no problem with supporting the death penalty. It's not the penalty I'm against - but the system that puts them there. In our system, we have prosecutors who knowingly put the wrong person to death, just because they know they will win the case. One such potential victim of this atrocity is in a later clip of this particular show. What's worse, the prosecutor gets no legal penalty. They can easily send innocent people to die without fear of consequences. That's scary.

  • @Jaydoggy531 Well, I'm not going to try to dissuade you from how you feel, but your argument doesn't affect me either because I've gone into my stance knowing how the system works... and like I said, sure it needs fixing but we at least need to take care of the cases the people are sure of.

  • @85dBlouder You're wrong.

  • @tazer95 nice insightful reply. merry christmas.

  • @85dBlouder No problem.

    You're still wrong.

  • @85dBlouder Because destroying lives is wrong except when we justify it.

  • @FatherTime89 Ummm, didn't we go through this a year ago? Killing off a murderer SHOULD be justified. Are you serious? Actually, don't answer that.

  • @85dBlouder Either killing someone is wrong in which case it's still wrong when we do it or it isn't.

  • @FatherTime89 Killing is *mostly* wrong. However, my position is not black & white like yours. Can you not differentiate between the murderous acts of a serial rapist/murderer and the police officer that kills him for doing that? Would you incarcerate that officer for a lifetime for murder? Please.

You're bound to your god, religion, values, whatever. They're different than mine. Right? Right. Please remember this and don't respond to me next year like this is a new comment.

  • @85dBlouder Your comment was one of the top rated. Happens to me too.

  • @85dBlouder They try really hard not to murder or rape? wtf? I dont have to try at all - in fact its very very very easy for me to NOT murder or rape people.. I have no selfish desire to do so at all... what the hell is wrong with you?

  • @pubuman Hahahaha. I never would have thought someone would take that line so literally. Read: No need to run with it, I wasn't serious. But :thumbs up: for making me smile so early in the day.

  • @85dBlouder So none of your points were serious? Because this one was pretty much in the same league...

  • An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind.

    -Mahatma Gandhi.

  • @Hjernespreng But the last person standing will still have one eye, and he will become the ruler of the blind people

  • @Suses lol. They would all walk about the world in a blind confusion until their civilization comes to extinction.

  • @Hjernespreng Gandhi was a racist who hated black Africans. You sure you want to be quoting someone like that?

  • @mashnbangers22

First of all, it doesn't FUCKING MATTER if even if Gandhi raped bunnies to death in his sparetime.

    It-doesn't-invalidate-what-he-said!

    Following your logic is destructive!

    Hitler said smoking kills.

Does that invalidate the fact that smoking actually does kill?
