It had nothing to do with lending to minorities, it was lending to people who didn't qualify for loans that messed everything up. Living in Orange County, CA I see a lot of "non minorities" who are losing their homes because they simply couldn't afford it.

The Clinton and bush admin did not push to have Orange County white folks get loans.  But they did pressure companies to SPECIFICALLY lend to minorities who could not get a loan before.

Not to mention, those banks also told them for example if someone wanted a $50,000 home --- "Well actually you qualify for buying a $100,000 home and with your income you can definitely make the payments!!!" Just to make an easy buck.

I don't think O'reilly is even that conservative. He is on social issues, but than again, so are most americans. But he is an ignorant populist on everything else. And Olbermann uses his format for one reason. To give his viewers only the news he wants them to see, the man is king misinformation. Olbermann is the lefts sean hannity, no question about it. And even he tries to debate liberals. He's actually confident in his ignorance. Olbermann is scared to debate.
