The occasional bad incident happens in hockey and the overall outcome was the guy didn't get hurt. This is no McSorely or Bertuzzi incident.

The difference is that Green did not absolutely clean Frolik's clock with that hit. Yes it was an elbow, but he did not take half a dozen strides and lay straight into his head from the blindside. May be a blessing in disguise though to force him to take 3 off rather than jump back in injured to help the streak,

Tampa Bay forwards unfortunately underwhelmed this year, Stamkos got cold after a hot start, Lecavalier had a down year, And Mike Richards beat out St. Louis and John Taveras and a slew of other capable candidates for the 13th forward spot. So...here we are
