@inanimateanimation They are going to be making another album. They're a "side project" because AFI is the main band and BlaqkAudio is a second band for Davey/Jade. Hunter has his own as well (Hunter's Revenge). They've all done other music at one point or another. It's not the first time Davey has done something other than AFI, nor Jade, etc.

Between this side project, Blaqk Audio, and the latest AFI album I have developed nothing but a new found distain for both bands, their members, and especially AFI's music as a whole. It's been nothing but downhill and disappointment since the "Art of Drowning" album in 2000 and, as a result, they have been relegated to the dusty shelf of bands once great but have fallen into mediocrity due to poorly perpetrated shifts in musical direction. May their greatest rest in peace.

@sereneturmoil They've definitely changed styles and I'm not a huge fan of the new style either but I think that musically they are definitely better than they used to be, if that makes any sense... their new songs are a lot more refined and detailed than their old ones. Hopefully in the future they will change to a heavier sound again but I doubt it.

I think CD's distributed in other stores will have the bonus songs. According to this one site, Hot topic CD's have "Girls and Boys", Itunes has "Black Electric", Best Buy has "Mute" etc.

So I think you might have to get an album from another store to get the songs. *shrugs*
