y does my cpu core temps are high as 51 C and my CPU temp is as low as 44 C...what shud i do in oreder to lower my cpu core temp?

@demon6937 That's normal. Core temp is temperature taken from within the CPU at each core which is hotter than the CPU temp which is taken from the surface of the CPU.

Ok on real temp ive been trying to look up what tj max is. What is it? I heard it had to do something with intel not putting acurate measuring devices on thier cpus or something.

@drKlitzman TJ max is the max temp that the CPU gets to before it reaches the maximum. So TJ max is the amount of temp from the max.

Hey Doomtomb3 i use setfsb to overclock my Asus g51.. so I overclock it with that and it works fine...temps are fine etc...i use cpu-z and HW monitor as well..but when i restart or shutdown my cpu the overclock goes away then i have to repeat setfsb process...its really annoying any idea on how to mak emy over clock stay on??

look for something that says "apply at startup" and check that. What program are you overclocking in?

Download EVGA Precision or Riva Tuner and overclock your GPU like I did in this video. For CPU, look for a youtube channel called "NCIXcom" and watch their CPU overclocking video for i5/i7.

Try downloading RivaTuner. I have two videos, part 1 & 2 on how to overclock your graphics card. I've never attempted overclocking integrated video before but if it's possible, it would be done using RivaTuner.

Do you know a program 2 overlclock my Voltage on my cpu it goes down to 1ghz when its suppost to be 2ghz i see that my voltages on my cpu dropes so i want to lock my voltage on my cpu

I'm not too familiar with software but in your motherboard BIOS, (enter by pressing delete during boot up), you navigate to something like CPU features and look for Intel Speedstep and C1E halt step. Disable both those and you will be running at your full clock speed all the time with the correct voltage. Those two options down the multiplier to your CPU and thus the voltage to save power.
