'ef' generally stands for 'each face', or 'extremely fine'. However, 'ef' has been used for the theme songs of both anime and game (eternal feather, emotional flutter, ever forever, euphoric field, ebullient future) and the anime OSTs (espressivo, fortissimo, elegia, felice).
I wouldn't know why ed would stand for each face or extremely fine..
but the whole theme songs used for both of the seasons of ef and the games, I just noticed that the titles would be initialed "ef" i, like you said in the examples. Which I think is pretty cool :3

actually, to those who asked, this song is Eternal Feather or Yuukyuu no Tsubasa not Euphoric Field.
vandakiara 3 years ago 8
Actually, it's a mix of both. But most people (including me) calls it 'eternal feather'.

I'm not sure either. That was what my dictionary said. Hehe. But I think that the term 'each face' actually fits with this story.

The name of this song is Yuukyuu no Tsubasa,
this isn't the song of the OP, this is from a Prolog before the first episode,,
like a Trailer, the artist is Yumiko Nakajima,
but I heard Hitomi Harada have other version of the song...

does anyone know the name of the song? beacause when i searched Euphoric Field by Tenmon, it was a different song.

You'll probably find this version of Euforic Field on one of the ef OSTs. You can download them at Zone Anime.
