Of course my comments are generalisations and don't hold true of all Amercians, like any country the population is very diverse and I can speak to the very friendly nature of most Americans I've met on my several visits over the years. unlike alot of people on here I'm technically Australian but have no special love for the place, I love living here and wouldn't want to live anywhere else but I'll be among the first to point out its many many many problems. What actually bothers me most about this clip is that as a whole Americans (by which I'm actually referring to people from the United States of, and not Canadians or Mexicans) are known for having a poor knowledge of the rest of the world.

They were settled in Australia before 'white Australians' and therefore feel as though they have already had their lives ruined by one part of the world and if they were to watch this, they would feel the same - devastated and disgusted that a famous person would muck around with their tradition.

Wow Ellen. That was really quite disrespectful. Plenty of Australian people do watch Ellen, and plenty would have found this mildly offensive. I'm an anglosaxon australian however i still found it offensive that ellen attepmted to play the didgeridoo, and it wasn't even a genuine attempt, it was just for cheap laughs.
