Nope. This was likely an independent charismatic church. At that time, the UPC was less lenient than this church on issues such as facial hair, long mullets, etc.
Plus, UPC preachers can usually preach the lights out.

He (or she) is making a legitimate statement that scholars, pastors, and others get their words from the Bible. If you were doing a Bible study, you would not simply read from the text and leave it at that. It has to be expounded.
And Larry Richard's comment on blasphemy of the Holy Spirit is right on. Especially since the text in Mark points this out in 3:30.

Sure. but in order for it to be true tongues, it must be translated by another person there. And I would like a verse that says the the Blood of Christ cannot wash clean ANY transgression, which is essentially what you are saying.

Yes, he's still preaching. This was his first sermon at 18 (video was taken 21 yrs. ago). This was his starting point. He's improved much with age, maturity in the Lord and in the word of God. He still got spunk! Glory to God, Hallelujah! He's happily married now for 19 yrs. with 2 teen daughters...Can you imagine they're surprise to see their dad on youtube? or his for that matter? (priceless)
