This is incorrect. The blessing of Abraham is not material blessing for us. Just read Romans. "Abraham trusted God and it was credited to him as righteousness". Abraham was a man of faith, whose sins were forgiven because he trusted God, like we should.
Please read the Bible for yourselves.
He misses the point of John 8:56. "Your father Abraham rejoiced at the thought of seeing my day" - Jesus, by saying "my" day, claimed to be the Messiah. It's not about mystical 'visualisation' techniques.
Not a problem....however, I still think you are focusing on the word with your mind and your intellect when you should actually let the word go to work inside of you. Remember, the word lives....let it do the work and I guarantee you will see amazing things begin to happen. You have to surrender yourself to the word and meditate.
I totally agree with you! The living word of God is much more than an intellectual thing, although I'd say at the same time we need to think carefully about what we read to make sure we're understanding the author's original intention and applying the relevant principles to our lives.

Note that it is God who calls things that are not as though they were - because God's word is true. If he says something's going to happen, it'll happen.
Note in particular that it is not us who can call things that are not as though they were, nor is it in 'command' form that we should do it. Similarly we can't 'give life to the dead'.

Stay strong in the faith thats been delivered to you.
