No, you don't need a USB adapter. The wireless Might Mouse runs off of Bluetooth technology, and this is built-in with every new Mac. I was wondering the same thing when I was planning to buy the mouse.

no, it isn't. The mighty mouse is only compatible with mac computers.

Well you can use the "WIRED" Mighty Mouse with a PC but not the bluetooth one. Check the Mighty Mouse's Apple Page....

I hanvn't tried the mighty mouse with one battery although it lasts 2.5 months dyrin my use with two batteries.

Yes, standard USB mice work with macs. You can not use PS/2 mice with macs though. For bluetooth mice, check if its mac compatible.
