LOL For one this isn't screamo, also this isn't about necrophilia; The song is about Orpheus, Hades, Charon, and Orpheus's wife Eurydice. Which is a greek myth, which he loses his bride on the day of the wedding and tricks his way into hell and convinces Hades to give his wife back. However on the travel back to our world he could not look behind him to see if she was there. But he did and lost her for good.

Its funny because me and my friend compare Alesana and BMTH too. I always say Alesana are better because of their great lyrics which actually mean something and because of Shawn's beautiful vocals. BMTH lost it on Suicide Season. After that album they are trash and to be honest i listen to Alesana since 4 years and I still love them!

this is based on a myth.Orpheus and Eurydice. After Eurydice dies by falling into pit of vipers while trying to escape from Sator. Orpheus wont accept so he came to underworld to retrieve her.He tricks the ferryman and pass Cerberus. Hades impressed, he allows Eurydice back,as long as during the journey back, he could not look back to verify that she was behind him. Eventually he couldn't bear it, and looked back, causing Eurydice to be sucked back down to Hades.

If you guys have ever read Metamorphoses, this sounds reminds me of Orpheus's story because he travels down to Hades to bring his dead wife from hell. The only catch was that he coudlnt look at his wife until he made it back. But right when he see's the light at the end, he turns to look at his wife but as soon as he does, his wife is drawn back into Hell.

But whoever the lead singer is, he's mad talented from going from such a high fry scream to a such a low exhaled growl. My voice is a bass, our growls are like the same low, judging by his clean vocals his voice is a lot higher then mine lol. Respect though.
