Is it not strange that us horrible Europeans have far, far less crime and any of the other problems you mention?
Also having more ambitions then just being a housewife do not mean one do not nurture or love ones family. However just as I nurture my hubby I expect him to nurture me to.
Also those woman you are talking about, quite a few of them where beaten by their husbands, or had to protect children from violent fathers because she had not choice but to stay with a man who was no good.
