this program is a little different the other one i download. The procedure is a little bit different after you have turn off ur iphone. I think this one is really easy to use, not like the other one, you have to hold the power button for 3 sec and then power with home button for 10 secs and release the power button again...

Thanks for your video dude, it's taken me 2 wks to figure out how to jailbreak 1st gen iphone after firmware upgrade 3.0.1. Initially i used pwnage tool but it wouldnt recognize the "iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.i­psw" firmware. I used redsn0w0.8 for mac & i would only get the reboot hang UNTIL i saw ur video where you say when it hangs to take out the usb & plug it back in! That's it & that what finally made it work! THANK YOU!!

you might need to download the jailbreak app and the ipsw again, until you can complete the process.

there are many links to the same app and ipsw, but some are broken or incomplete.
