It is true that a person can make their own speakers from scratch, but this is not one of the ways. This is just another fake video meant to spam up the place. The best real alternatives are to make a magnet/voice-coil one with some copper wire etc. Or to look up DIY electrostatic speakers.

Its the same exact thing as HH. The only thing you changed is what you wrapped the tinfoil around. The only reason I don't think this would work is the sound is caused by vibrations and the glass would limit how much it can move while a paper plate is flexible.

all a speaker is is something vibrating very fast to create an audible sound wave. So i could make a speaker with a crank or a motor, it would make one frequency. However the question is HOW does this make any part of the project vibrate?
