@NaeJoy It is a live version but there's a backing track quite clearly being played in the background - she is singing, her vocals are just getting panned out more by the track. It's pretty obvious when she does those annoying tinny-voiced whispery "ohh" noises that's competely different to the backing track playing simultaneously. Loads of singers use backing tracks when performing live.
