Any tom, dick, or harry can buy/drive a c63, all you have to do is step on the pedal and itll fly. It takes a very few skilled artists to drive an m3, once you learn and find your own style, nothing can keep up whether its on the track or street
@Beemez25 It takes a more skilled driver to drive a C63 on a track due to the amount of power the amg has. This M3 is an auto so, "anyone," can drive it also. The M3 is more balanced and easier to control, while the C63 is rougher and tougher. Think race horse vs rodeo bull.
@deanP382 - Theres a reason the c63 is a tail happy car: to much unallocated power, and suspension tuning isnt there from factory. BMW M3 is not auto, you get an option of 6MT or auto.. M3 competition comes track tuned, all power is allocated in the right area or execution, suspension is tunes for daily driving and the track, and tires are hand picked to fit performance. Im not saying C63 is bad car, but you will find yourself in the dust while the m3 takes that turn at the same speed

Dont get me wrong, the M3 is great but in a track that takes 3 1/2 minutes to round, the M3 does it about 4 seconds faster then the C63, thats only milliseconds of a difference around every corner. I've driven bot of these cars, most of you don't have a clue what you're talking about. C63 is just a power-heavy car with tons of straight line performance (like a muscle car) staying true to Merc's line of AMG engines.
While the M3 is tailored to track perfection through years of refinement and finesse. Both good cars, both built for different things tackling the same market. You're all just a bunch of fan boys.

Yes the Mercedes c63 amg is a little faster on the straights, but in corners the m3 is faster and the m3 is still the real sportscar! The handling is much better than the Mercedes and the sound from the ///M bmw's (especially v10) is also much better!
The c63 amg has a 6.2l v8 with 457hp and the m3 has 420hp from a 4.0l v8, so for 2.3l more only 37hp more??? That'd not impressive at all!!
But, that doesn't tell the whole story. A stock C63 makes 360 rwtq from 3500 rpm to 5400 rpms. That's pretty beefy for a stock, automatic V-8.
Contrast the Benz's rear wheel torque with the M3's 295 at the crank and only 250 at the wheels at 3900 rpms and you can see how that extra 2.3l helps.
As MHP has said, with NA engines you have to squeeze every bit of power from where you can and in the case of stock M3's and C63's, those extra liters are put to good use.
the 6,2 l engine in the c63 is the same engine from the sls amg and can easly produse 571 hp only mod the STOCK software in your C Clas and than bye bye M5 M6 everything :-)........

Before purchasing my 1997 BMW 523i I test drove a 1998 Mercedes-Benz e320 and a question arouse: how can some people be so stupid to buy a car (e320) with 221hp that drives neither better and has no serious performance advantage over a 170hp automobile, and to pay property tax for additional 50hp? I have also been a passenger in the s, m not mentioning BMW X5, 328i and e39 528i. From my experience I can surely say that BMW is the best.

Yes the Mercedes c63 amg is a little faster on the straights, but in corners the m3 is faster and the m3 is still the real sportscar! The handling is much better than the Mercedes and the sound from the ///M bmw's (especially v10) is also much better!
The c63 amg has a 6.2l v8 with 457hp and the m3 has 420hp from a 4.0l v8, so for 2.3l more only 37hp more??? That'd not impressive at all!!

But, that doesn't tell the whole story. A stock C63 makes 360 rwtq from 3500 rpm to 5400 rpms. That's pretty beefy for a stock, automatic V-8.
Contrast the Benz's rear wheel torque with the M3's 295 at the crank and only 250 at the wheels at 3900 rpms and you can see how that extra 2.3l helps.
As MHP has said, with NA engines you have to squeeze every bit of power from where you can and in the case of stock M3's and C63's, those extra liters are put to good use.

Before purchasing my 1997 BMW 523i I test drove a 1998 Mercedes-Benz e320 and a question arouse: how can some people be so stupid to buy a car (e320) with 221hp that drives neither better and has no serious performance advantage over a 170hp automobile, and to pay property tax for additional 50hp? I have also been a passenger in the s, m not mentioning BMW X5, 328i and e39 528i. From my experience I can surely say that BMW is the best.
