Ahh, acoustic guitars aren't completely 'un-metal'. A lot of melodic death metal uses acoustic intros, passages, and little trails to lead yoo into a different mood. Keep playing, whether acoustic or metal, if yoo are heavily influenced by metal, it will be just as good when yoo come around to writing yoor own music. >=D

I really couldn't tell you man. It just depends on what bands influence you really...I just listen to a lot of In Flames/Soilwork and others so I kinda just try to make up my own rhythms/harmonies that they might do or something
