The iPhone 3G doesn't work on T-Mobile USA's 3G network. The iPhone 3G is meant to work on the 850, 1900, and 2100 MHz bandwidths for 3G data. However, T-Mobile USA's 3G is broadcast at the 1700 and 2100 MHz spectrum, and both bandwidths are needed in order to use the 3G network; 1700 used for uplink, and 2100 used for downlink on T-Mobile's network in the USA.

you can try torestart the whole thing and jailbreak it over that usually works. by restoring it .. it might erase memory but it would get the iphone back working.

unlocked is so you can use it with tmobile or any other carrier with sims

locked you can only use it with att

No there is a chip that you have to buy. Basically you buy this chip, place your SIM card over the chip. Place them in the "slider" which is located on top of the iphone. After that your good to go. As far as getting the internet hack and all that I'm still learning.

Yeah I already have the sidekick unlimited, so im good there. good looking out. i researched about myfaves and u just have to manage them via the website instead of on your phone. I called tmoblie and the lady was damn near pissed that i wanted to sell my sidekick and unlock an iphone. i had to pull it out of her that i needed to call back so they can configure my phone so i can use the tmoblie edge network.
