i would kinda like to hear mariah do it live to see an actual comparison! Studios can make anyone sound great thats why we have people like katy perry and kesha as pop stars now. No doubt mariah is 500 times better than both of them but i would be nice to see these women go at it live.
@kellyshairman2010 she probably sang it live in her 1994 christmas consert, we know she sang joy to the world, all i want for christmas, and silent night, and probably way more but it was private (in St.John The Divine) but the only performance we have is joy to the world and snippets from the other songs i mentioned.
You can tell Kelly was knows Mariah's version because she imitated her "JE JE JE JE JE" at the end like Mariah. But paled in comparison. 3:37 vs. 8:00.
