Oh no, absolutely not !!! In fact i'm a drummer so you can forgive me. I have a friend living in Lisboa and i fell in love with this instrument. I can't play it in a traditionnal way, but you can play it in pop songs in a different way. It can sound like a mandolin (think of REM "losing my religion") or a strange guitar.
