Bought the cd a couple of days ago and this is the best album of 2011, so far, in my opinion. This actually has shades of x ray specs, with the saxaphone in several songs. brilliant

So looking forward to this album -- and I do mean actually buying it, holding it my hands, reading the lyric sheet. I came up in the 70's and 80's wave of punk, reggae, no-wave, noise, post-punk and all the other great "revolutionary" stuff that was coming out back then. For a mixed girl like me from Chicago, Poly was more than an inspiration in the 70's. She inspired me to sew my own punk clothes and question the pop culture around me and be a proud woman of color.
