hi. really nice sound (and nice playing too btw) you get with this pickup. which model is it excactly? is it magnetic? I am really looking for the best way to amplify my gibson.. thanks!
sounds good, been lookin for somethin to use on my old gibsons. you recommend these things? seems natural enough. i dont want a electronic interpretation of a great acoustic guitar.
Hey Cris, I guess that the best amplification of an acoustic guitar would be an external studio mike, but I recommend those vintage BB pickups.
By the way, I've just got back my Nick Lucas guitar with a new PU installation: a Sunrise this time... It seems to work great so I will try to post a new test...
How is it compared to the Dean Markley one?

Sorry Sir, I've never used the PU you mentioned, so that I cannot compare.

Yes, it's magnetic but no more produced since 20 years (at least)...
If I remember well, the model is labeled "hi-tek" but it's actually pretty hard to find.
As far as I know, this model was proposed with different support (a clip-on, as this one, or with a double-face adhesive joint, ect...).
