I don't know about anyone else, but that opening level where you and Jeanne are falling from the clock tower makes the best use of this song. Only on that first play through when you had no idea what was going on did everything seem so dramatic. . .

it's sad that so many people gave this flack for being a "God of War" rip-off, when ironically the creator of this game, Hideki Kamiya, created Devil May Cry, which without that game God of War and many action titles would not exist today. and Bayonetta has such TIGHT controls for an action game... when I think about how many times I fumbled in GoW or Ninja Gaiden or even the new Splatterhouse game, and then think about how many times I fumbled a combo or attack in Bayonetta, practically NONE.

The God of War games aren't even half as good, actually.

Comparing them to Bayonetta can only make you realize how superiour Bayonetta is in terms of everything.

I can give at the very least fifteen reasons why it's in a totally different league..

Not if you're a GoW fanboy, of course.Then, every game is a "rip-off", every game is less original, has worse graphics and sucks overall.

Why not just stop talking about GoW and enjoy the track?

except I WAS talking about how inferior GoW and Ninja Gaiden are to this... I was commenting mainly on the excessive amount of people that talk about how GoW changed the action game world when in reality that credit goes to DMC. I am far from a GoW fanbody, I actually think Kratos is a horribly developed character who had a tiny bit of backstory thrown in to justify how one dimensional he already was.

Bayonetta could have been such an epic game... If they had just made it more serious like this song for isntance. The designs are really breathtaking (except for bayonetta and the whole guns on the feet thing, i mean wtf!?) and the combos were BRILLIANT, but my nose started bleeding from the effort of trying to follow the plot and you have to be a psychic to get a good mark on a chapter.

fast paced action games are a real adrenaline rush

and entertaining especially when the main character is rather attractive & walks around nude most the time..

yeah, that's true, I haven't played the second one in forever... He does have a sort of grim progression that nobody really notices, since up until 2 he's very mouthy. He was the same way in 1 and 4, it just wasn't as noticeable in 1 because cutscenes weren't such a big priority then.
