there is something about the criteria of personality disorders. Looking at the evolution, philosophers of the mind are needed to find out why pd's are 'designed in evolution' I think this is a major thing.

prefer to be alone, paranoia, anxiety (sometimes catatonic), hallucinations, episodes of dissociation, derealization, and depersonalization, thought disorder- which manifests as word salad when i'm really anxious.. no one knows what the hell i'm going on about etc

i believe in some spiritual things but only what i've experienced personally through meditation and drug use. i think rather such powerful experiences can trigger latent disorders, which are usually genetic as well

Your last sentence may be true, but your first sentence isn't. A kid can have great parents, yet become schizophrenic. Many myths surround masturbation, too. It's possible that a person may feel guilty about masturbation, and it's manifested in voices saying "you're bad" or some other bs. If a voice tells you something bad, a person has as much right to ignore that as if a human, physical voice says something bad.

Schizophrenia occurs at a rate of between half and one percent in all nations. It is not a cultural thing. linking it to masturbation is pure conjecture - probably generated by repressed fear and Religious mania. Actually, I used to be schizophrenic but we're both alright now.
