Sometimes liberty means the average citizen has to stand up and fight for it. When the rule of law is no longer adhered to in any society people are no longer ruled by law but by force and intimidation.  When the “Patriot Act” was passed hardly anyone protested. Well, as is always the case, when you don’t fight for your liberty there are always those who are more than willing to take it away from you.

Yea, I am against the police state, and against those who want to destroy our liberties, but in cases such as the protester at the end who says "fuck off" it becomes a moot point. We do not know what the policeman was thinking, was he honest, or not, crook, or doing his job. Police is needed. Not every anti-police protester has the full understanding that James has, many actually do want to make trouble and destroy other tax payers public property. James should not approve of every protester.

This is decent. There are things people can & should be doing as long as an operative civil order is in place. I don’t know how much longer there will be such a thing—it seems a federal gov’t that abides by “accelerating debt in perpetuity” has its days most numbered—but for as long as there’s at least the “semblance” of constitutional law in place, know your rights and expose the lawbreakers behind congressional chambers, badges & judge’s robes.

As mild as it was, I'm glad you did this. One thing I'm finding increasingly disgusting is the culture of helplessness so many 'liberty minded' folks seem to trapped by. I've been saying the same thing the bunny did. Cameras - cut the cables, throw a blanket over it, spray paint the lens. Biometric id - find where the data is stored and sabotage the facility. Riot police - block their escape routes and sling the molotovs. Or you can whine about it. Lots of luck bringing change that way.
