  • This beautiful beautiful man saved my life, and for that I will forever be grateful. The American people truelly are amazing, I sometimes don't feel your government is presenting you the right way in the world. Because there seem to be some sort of geniusness and goodness in your people. I wish to see an American governement that truelly is in tact with the essense of its people. Because right now, the USA is not known for being the nicest country in the world!

  • THANKS

  • @g17y5wb That's...unfortunate?

  • @g17y5wb i havnt laughed so much in weeks! im soo sorry! please forgive me.

  • JKZ's book "Full Catastrophe Living" is the single best book on psychology I've ever read. Integrating east-west, body-mind, and tons of research, he answers the question of how to use psych in a practical manner better our lives about as well as anyone. (I just have to keep reminding myself not to give it to my tennants lol.)

  • Too little too late,, damage is already done,, growing up in Abuse,, Overwhelming stress at an early age. Need behavioral skills,, Boundary setting,, while at the same time,, trying to GET your needs met in relationships,,, when you never had that before,,,all about healthy relating,,,People don't want to hear what you feel,, they don't care

  • @ScreamKat ... Wow. Self awareness is a good start. I would agree that MOST people don't care, but a rare few do. Of those, some will just listen, while others--like me--start thinking of ways to fix everything. ^_^

  • @ScreamKat Check out Alexander Lowen's books, Narcissism; the denial of the true self, and Depression and the body. These aren't self help books, however they give incredible insights into the effects of trauma on a human being. I got alot of help from them, and am currently doing some 'bodywork' therapy, which is helping me alot.

  • @ScreamKat I believe that everyone has inside them a deep need for connection, empathy and love, and that includes the need to care for others. They simply don't know how to express this, they don't know how to show another that they are important to them, and that they care for them. Even psychopaths care for others, they just have a very screwed up way of expressing it. Awareness is a fantastic place to start to find what and how to express what is inside you to those around you.
