Geordi is just a spanish spelling, almost all european tunes from the 1600s and back have subtle name changes depending on what country they're played in, despite where they were written.

your playing ability is very good, and for that i would recommend getting a better tin whistle with a wooden headpiece, you could get one for about 5 pounds in the uk! they just sound much better, try one! ^^
