You guys realize this is why real music is dying right? Because when a real artist gets more successful and more people start appreciating their music, everyone just tears them down and leaves more room for the fake artists with no backstory or real music to get more famous. So, what if stupid idiots listen to his music now? He's making money off of still really good music and I'd rather see a Travie song top 10 then Lady Gaga or anyone else who's music isn't as real.
That's the thing though. Because of all the success, it's going to his head and his music isn't real anymore. It's the same fake bullshit every other rapper is rapping these days. I don't care what's in the top 10, I'd rather hear a good unknown GCH song than hear a popular shitty GCH song. I would keep buying their albums and merchandise if they were good. I'm just glad I didn't pay for The Quilt.
@shagottaholla I also hate how people get mad when others start learning about artist. They get all defensive and are like, I knew of them before people started liking them. I just sit there and have to ask, what so you don't want your favorite artist to become successful and create really good music? I think it is stupid how some people are in this world.

The point was about how so many bands don't get famous because of haters. Theres not enough people who listen to any type of rock music for us to be hating on bands and calling them sell outs when theyre still making good music. People know who Lady Gaga is, the bands nominated for Best Rock Video at the VMA's not so much.

You guys realize this is why real music is dying right? Because when a real artist gets more successful and more people start appreciating their music, everyone just tears them down and leaves more room for the fake artists with no backstory or real music to get more famous. So, what if stupid idiots listen to his music now? He's making money off of still really good music and I'd rather see a Travie song top 10 then Lady Gaga or anyone else who's music isn't as real.

That's the thing though. Because of all the success, it's going to his head and his music isn't real anymore. It's the same fake bullshit every other rapper is rapping these days. I don't care what's in the top 10, I'd rather hear a good unknown GCH song than hear a popular shitty GCH song. I would keep buying their albums and merchandise if they were good. @ReeperDante I completely agree with you. For some reason everyone has made my comment into me bashing Lady Gaga. I don't even think I said anything bad about her. The point was about how so many bands don't get famous because of haters. Theres not enough people who listen to any type of rock music for us to be hating on bands and calling them sell outs when theyre still making good music. People know who Lady Gaga is, the bands nominated for Best Rock Video at the VMA's not so much.

This is when the Gym Class Heroes were good. I really have no idea what happened from then up until now. They used to make songs of substance, with lyrics that people could relate to.
Did anyone actually listen to The Quilt? It was just a bunch of songs about Travis being butthurt because people were talking shit about his band. They used to say they'd never go mainstream. So much for consistency.
Here's to hoping that the Gym Class Heroes eventually return to how they used to be.
