@dogfight001 (pathetic? it is a video game big deal) Ace Combat had a simplified physics engine that was not stupid easy, but was still a slight challenge, you could use actual ACM to give yourself an advantage. Ever since AC6 introduced that silly "High-G" thing there were less ways to gain the advantage in a multiplayer dogfight. I think the Close Dogfight mode is cool in singleplayer but I feel it takes away for the multiplayer. Overall they have made it too easy for anyone to play....

@AceCmbatguy26 The game was too scripted to be fun, everything happened in only one way, most "ace" pilots were set to only be destroyed at a certain point so it makes it more "epic" I wasn't dogfighting Akula, I was in a minigame that required me to stay behind him and shoot when he gets close to his target. No fun.

Older AC games put you in ACTUAL fights where you actually were able to destroy the enemy with skill, not how the game wanted you to.

In that case we are talking about 2 completely seperate things, since this is only the second time AC has had online, obviously they would have made improvements from last time, but as for the story and singleplayer gameplay, it is an insult to what the series stands for.

@AceCmbatguy26 Yeah my internet was broken when I played it so wasn't able to do online, really want to try it though seeing as the dogfight mode there can be unpredictable and epic.

They should have done that with singleplayer so that it was more skill based, I swear you have to watch the plane bomb you friends before being able to damage it. It's a pathetic attempt at making things slook epic taken straight from scripted games like Call of Duty.

I have no problem with rap or hip-hop, I just have a problem when you add music that doesn't exactly mesh and actually takes away from the grandeur of the music. I'm a huuuge fan of Ace Combat music, so much so that I have collected all the OSTs. You want a great example of music meshing in AC, try Megalith -Agnus Dei- from AC4 or maybe The Unsung War from AC5.

It's all about atmosphere, something that is lost thx to the hip-hop.
