@fomplay It's actually "I thought that all you WERE eating was my pride". Check the album booklet, and instead of checking Google, actually listen to the song. It sounds like David says pride, and "...eating was my blood", that makes no sense.
Again, listen closely and you can hear David say "awoke to discover". Again, LISTEN to the song instead of trusting everything Google says. Also, don't call me dumb, if you're going to insult my intelligence, at least use the proper grammar.
