This song is originally called "Carinhoso" and Pixinguinha, a brazilian composer,that made it. It's a version of Ray Gilbert. That scene is wonderful.
Isn't Jane Powell great. This song is from "Nancy Goes to Rio" which is my favorite of all of her movies. Can you believe that they still haven't released "ALL" of her movies on dvd, especially the ones in color, e.g. "Nancy Goes to Rio", "Two Weeks With Love", "Luxury Liner", and "Holiday in Mexico". Just found out today that "A Date With Judy" is being released this month (Nov). Maybe if enough of us purchase this one, they will release all the other great movies she has made! rmaldrich
