Dakota Fanning was awesome in this series. I always thought she was a little bit creepy or unnerving in her acting presense, but sometimes kids come off that way cause we don't relate to them the same way as adults in an acting sense. She really set the mood of the film just by narration.

Good series. Missed it when it aired but thanks to vevrca i just finished watching part 10 last night. I recommend it to anyone not just sci-fi fans. It's ten parts about 1 hr. each and they're all here on you tube except for two endings which were taken down due to copyright BS over the soundtrack, but the uploader was nice enough to post the links where they leave off.

this pretty girl grew up to a cute teenie although taken is from 2002 and not so long ago - amazing how quick humans grow. i can follow watching it at my son. not long ago he was born (2004), a cute little beatifull baby (11/2 feet;51cm and 4,5kg) now he's 6years old, 1,07m and go to school 1st class... amazing game of nature!

and myself... becomes older and older and becomes smaller again, grey hairs (more and more from year to year) and more and more crinkles ;-(

This is so fucked up. The machine guns on the BF 109s were mounted on the nose, not the wings. You strafed bomber formations from above, you didn't fly through them, that's stupid.
