Just heard these guys for the first time today-LOVE THEM!! In a way they almost remind me of (please don't hate here) early Evanescence. They're really good and I look forward to loving a lot more of their music. Peace!
@voivodvlad1 Evanescence brought this type of sound mainstream. Which is good. Also recommend Nightwish (with Tarja), Leaves Eyes, Sirenia, and Theatres des Vampires (later stuff).
This is in like the top 5 of my gave Epica songs, an in no way are they commercial, the best part of the song is the last 30 seconds that starts "never again will I be with you" the last note of the song is just breathtaking...simone's voice is SO powerful. I -3 her :)
@13jonny89 have you listened to Design Your Universe ? THAT IS NOT COMERCIAL. Epica keeps being a great symphonic metal band for now :D This was just one taste of comercial stuff, and hopefully the only one ;)
I find it amusing the way that often in bands like this where the guys have long hair they swoosh it about like they're in a shampoo advert.
