@ChevroletastragtcOPC I think Burns quit due to brain cancer (died of it in 2005 i think) and colin probably decided to end his carrier in 2003. i'm not sure about the team retirements, could be a money problem tho

I like the way he makes the car to do EXACTLY what he wants. I have driven an Impreza on gravel a few times, it is a hell of a fun, BUT, even tho I have managed a few ''powerslides'' and funky stuff, it is god damn difficult to actually make the car turn in the way you intend to. It is usually too much throttle/too little, or the entering speed is too high/low. It's really not easy, but Colin makes it look like my granny could do it!

Understeer is when you're turning the wheel and the car just doesn't follow, you end up going straight.

Oversteer is when the back of the car loses grip and starts sliding more than you want to turn! It's then when you see the drivers turning the steering wheel at the opposite direction, trying to control oversteer.

What makes him so amazing is the way that sometimes he cant really explain how to control the car in a situation, he just does it naturally as he can know and feel how the car is going to react. The same goes for Lewis Hamilton and numerous other quality drivers. Whether that just comes from driving experiences from a young age or whether its just a god-given talent who knows, but you can't deny that it makes them truly special and something hardly any of us will become no mater how hard we try.

Depends on the driver, the car and the conditions. For non-proffesional drivers and even the majority of experienced road drivers, understeer is safer and more controlable than oversteer.

Saying that mind you, it is often the same for the proffesional drivers out there. Take F1 for instance, they use perfectly balanced understeer for the high speed bends and almost always fly off the track at the first sign of oversteer. If you've ever been go karting you'll have probably experienced it!
